Fall 2026: Upcoming Events

The fall 2026 North America series runs September through December with eight confirmed events — including three first-time cities (Tampa, Denver, Nashville) plus the return of DC, Salt Lake City, Boston, Dallas, and Anaheim.

Washington DC — September 3–7

Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The DC stop doubles as the North America Championship — top-ranked athletes from across the continent compete here for championship qualification. First five-day HYROX event in DC. Metro Green/Yellow line (Mount Vernon Square station) drops you directly at the venue.

Salt Lake City — September 18–20

Salt Palace Convention Center in downtown Salt Lake City. A debut event for the Utah market — compact three-day format. Elevation sits at 4,226 feet, making this the second-highest-altitude HYROX race in the US after Denver. Athletes traveling from sea level should allow extra recovery time.

Boston — October 8–11

Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC), South Boston Waterfront. Four days in one of New England’s best race weekends. Indoor climate-controlled venue — October weather outside is irrelevant. Silver Line connects South Station to the BCEC in under 5 minutes.

Tampa — October 23–25

Tampa Convention Center, sponsored by MyFitnessPal, on the downtown Tampa waterfront. The Embassy Suites is connected via skybridge — most convenient race hotel on the US calendar. Florida heat is a summer training factor; the race itself is fully climate-controlled.

Denver — November 12–15

The highest-altitude HYROX race in the United States — Colorado Convention Center at 5,280 feet above sea level. Athletes traveling from sea level need to account for approximately 17% less available oxygen. Local Denver athletes have a genuine aerobic advantage here.

Dallas — November 18–22

Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, downtown Dallas. A five-day event drawing thousands of athletes to one of the largest convention venues in the US. DART Light Rail (Convention Center Station) connects downtown hotels directly to the venue.

Anaheim — December 3–6

Anaheim Convention Center, steps from Disneyland Resort. One of the most popular stops on the US calendar — book accommodation early. HYROX Youngstars youth races run December 5–6. ARTIC transit hub connects Metrolink and Amtrak to the venue.

Nashville — December 10–13

Music City Center in downtown Nashville. Debut event with a large projected field. Nashville’s hotel and dining scene makes this one of the more enjoyable race weekends on the US calendar. Cool December temperatures outside; climate-controlled venue inside.

Can I do more than one HYROX race in the same year?

Yes — many athletes race multiple times per season. HYROX doesn’t limit how many events you can enter. Results across events are tracked separately on the HYROX results database.

How do I find out when HYROX is coming to my city?

New city announcements are made on hyrox.com and the official HYROX social channels. For recurring markets like NYC, Chicago, Miami, and Las Vegas, check hyrox.com directly for the most current dates.

Is there a HYROX on the West Coast in fall 2026?

Anaheim runs December 3–6, 2026 — the only confirmed West Coast fall event. Denver (Nov 12–15) is a 2-hour flight from most West Coast cities and a strong alternative. Las Vegas and Phoenix are recurring markets — check hyrox.com for their current dates.

What is the North America Championship?

The HYROX North America Championship is hosted at the Washington DC event (Sep 3–7). Top-ranked athletes from across the continent compete here for championship qualification slots. Open division athletes race the same course — the Championship field runs alongside the regular event.

What’s the difference between HYROX races in different cities?

The race format, stations, weights, and distances are identical at every HYROX worldwide. The primary differences are: venue layout, altitude (Denver at 5,280 ft and Salt Lake City at 4,226 ft stand out), crowd size, and race weekend logistics. Times are directly comparable across events.
