HYROX 2027 Schedule USA: Every Spring Race, New Cities & Hong Kong Worlds

The HYROX 2027 schedule is out, and for US athletes it’s the biggest spring season yet: nine US races between February and June, two brand-new host cities on the West Coast, and a World Championships in Hong Kong to close the season. Below is every confirmed date and venue — checked against the official hyrox.com event pages — plus the fall 2026 races still to come, so you can plan your whole season in one place.

HYROX 2027 Schedule USA: Spring Races

All dates and venues below are taken from the official event pages on hyrox.com (checked September 28, 2026; Phoenix venue updated October 1, 2026). “TBA” means HYROX hasn’t published that detail yet.

A few things stand out in the 2027 schedule for the USA:

• Chicago moves to Navy Pier and opens the spring season with a five-day event over Presidents’ Day weekend. See our HYROX Chicago guide.
• Houston moves to NRG Center after racing at the George R. Brown Convention Center in 2026. Our Houston guide covers the city side of race weekend.
• New York is listed but undated. HYROX says New York will be its biggest event yet, but no dates or tickets are live on the official page. We’ll update this article when they are.
• Phoenix moves to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, home of the Arizona Cardinals, about 20 miles west of downtown Phoenix. Our HYROX Phoenix guide covers getting there and nearby Westgate hotels.

New Cities: HYROX San Diego and HYROX Portland

The two genuinely new US stops on the HYROX 2027 schedule are both on the West Coast, which has historically been thin on HYROX races outside Anaheim.

HYROX San Diego (May 13–16, 2027)

If you’ve been searching for “HYROX San Diego 2026,” the race you’re looking for actually lands in spring 2027: May 13–16 at the San Diego Convention Center, with EōS Fitness as title partner. It’s a four-day event on the downtown waterfront, next to the Gaslamp Quarter — so hotels will fill quickly once tickets go on sale. It’s a sea-level, indoor course, with a mild spring climate for outdoor training blocks in the lead-up.

HYROX Portland (May 21–23, 2027)

HYROX Portland runs May 21–23 at the Oregon Convention Center, one week after San Diego. The venue sits on the MAX light rail line, which makes car-free race days easy. For Pacific Northwest athletes who used to fly to Anaheim or Vegas, HYROX Portland is the first chance to race at home.

Doing both? San Diego and Portland are eight days apart. That’s enough time to recover and race again, but treat the first race as a hard effort, not an all-out one. Most athletes who try to PR at both end up doing neither.

HYROX World Championships 2027: Hong Kong

The season ends with the PUMA HYROX World Championships in Hong Kong, June 10–13, 2027, at AsiaWorld-Expo next to Hong Kong International Airport. Qualification runs through the regular season. Each official event page has a “Worlds Slots” section showing how many qualifying spots that race awards per division. If Worlds is your goal, pick races where your age group is likely to be less crowded, and race early in the season so you have a second attempt.

How to Plan Your 2027 Season

• First HYROX? Pick a race 12–16 weeks away and follow our 12-week HYROX training plan. For most people starting now, that points to Las Vegas, Miami Beach or Houston.
• Chasing a PR? Choose one “A” race and treat anything 6+ weeks earlier as a rehearsal.
• Racing with a partner? Doubles and Relay tickets tend to sell out first. Read our Doubles guide and Relay guide, then register early.
• Ticket alerts: most spring event pages still say “Ticket sales start soon.” Sign up for notifications on each official event page you’re considering.
