Last checked: October 22, 2026. The official event page still marks the division windows as provisional. Find your exact assignment on the official start list; a division window is not an individual start time. Read the current technical briefing before racing. HYROX Tampa 2026 is the first HYROX race ever held in the Bay, and it runs for four days — Thursday, October 22 to Sunday, October 25 — at the Tampa Convention Center. If you’re going to cheer on a friend, a training partner or the Pro field, this guide covers what you need: HYROX spectator tickets, the one entrance everyone has to use, security, when the Pros race, and where to find race photos afterwards.

HYROX Tampa 2026 Tickets for Spectators
Everyone who isn’t racing that day needs a spectator ticket. Three rules from the official event page are worth knowing before you buy:
- Athlete tickets only cover race day. You can spectate with your athlete ticket only on the day of your race. Racing Thursday but want to watch the Pros on Friday? Buy a spectator ticket for Friday.
- Bring your ticket and ID. Spectators go through Spectator Check-In, where you show your ticket and ID. Athletes who want to get into the hall before their own check-in window also go through Spectator Check-In.
- Ceremonies: if you made an age group podium on a weekday, go to the Help Desk with your ID for free access to the ceremony and to collect your flag. Anyone coming with you needs a spectator ticket.
Price and availability checked October 22: the official shop displays $21.30 per spectator day for Thursday through Sunday, with all four listed days currently marked sold out. Under-12s are free but still require a ticket; under-16s need an accompanying adult with a spectator ticket. Listed prices are not a verified checkout total; additional fees or taxes may apply. Recheck the ticket shop for the current price for the day you want.
Getting There: One Entrance, No Garage Access

This is the part most people will get wrong, so read it twice:
- Use the Riverwalk Entrance at 333 S Franklin St — it’s on the south side of the convention center, along the Tampa Riverwalk. All attendees must use it.
- You can’t enter from the parking garage. Parking is available on the ground level of the facility, first come, first served, but from there you still walk around to the Riverwalk Entrance.
- The overhead walkway to the Embassy Suites is closed for venue access. If you’re staying there, plan to walk around to the Riverwalk side.
- Security: all attendees go through metal detection and a bag search. Pack light to get through faster.
- Bringing kids? HYROX “strongly” recommends umbrella strollers because of stairs and escalators inside.
Download the official venue map before you go. For hotels, driving and the walk in, see our HYROX Tampa guide.

Watching someone specific? Look up the athlete on the HYROX start list for their assigned start time; do not use a division window as their personal start. Results post to the leaderboard as athletes race; our how to watch HYROX live guide shows how to follow splits on your phone.
Where to Watch Inside the Venue

- The Thunderdome: HYROX promises “a spectacular view from the Thunderdome to watch the other racers compete throughout the day” — the place to settle in for a Pro wave.
- HYROX Entertainment Zone: partner stands and activities between waves.
- Around the run course and Roxzone: athletes pass the same areas lap after lap, so pick a spot near the run course and you’ll see them several times. Athletes count their own laps. For the standard race, every run enters on the third IN pass; relay Run 1 also uses the third pass, but Runs 2–8 use the second. Do not guess a racer’s count from a brief view of the course or tell them to enter based on an incomplete count.
- Finish and awards stage: Pro ceremonies are on Friday at 2:30 PM and on Saturday at 10:15 PM.
Planning to cheer loud? Our race day cheer signs are easy to spot from the course.
Race Photos (Sportograf)
HYROX’s official photo partner, Sportograf, uses facial recognition to match photos to athletes. Athletes need to visibly wear the designated wristband handed out at athlete check-in. About 48 hours after the race, upload a selfie at sportograf.com to find the photos; anyone who pre-bought the photo package redeems it with the Sportograf ticket ID on their personalized ticket.
Is There an Elite 15 Race in Tampa?
No. Tampa is an age group race with Pro divisions, but it isn’t part of the Elite Series. The next Elite 15 race is in Hamburg, October 30–31, after it moved from the HYROX Cruise. The full story, plus how athletes qualify for the 2027 World Championships in Hong Kong, is in HYROX World Championships 2027: how qualifying works.
